Domain authority (DA) or domain rating (DR) are technical terms for a ranking metric developed separately by SEO experts Moz and Ahrefs, respectively. Both measure a website’s authority and are a form of competitive analysis that also shows a website’s popularity.
Although both metrics don’t directly affect a website’s ranking, a higher score means your website scores well on search engine algorithms and is therefore likely to get more traffic.
